Compression Fittings
Thermoweld supplies a comprehensive range of compression fittings for HDPE pipe in drinking water systems.
THE PROCESS
An HDPE/PP compression fitting is a mechanical fitting used to connect pipes to a fixture or valve. These compression fittings are widely used in plumbing and other piping systems. HDPE and PP compression fittings consist of three parts, namely the compression nut, the compression ring, and the compression seat.
ADVANTAGES
- No soldering required: This piping connection method requires no soldering to connect, making is suitable for areas and connections where soldering is prohibited.
- Easy assembling and disassembling features: HDPE/PP compression fittings are very easy to assemble and disassemble, ideal for many residential and industrial application needs. No special tools are required to assemble or disassemble the HDPE/PP compression fittings.
- Leak-free connections: When installed correctly, compression fittings will offer leak-free connections and satisfying results.
Compression fittings are used with high density polyethylene (HDPE) and polypropylene (PP) pipes dedicated to fluid reticulation and include many items suitable for a very wide range of plant engineering installation requirements.
